headlesschicken6661 says:

for them to fly in near perfect formation, I’m thinking they’re networked…no need for individual unit programming. My best guess though.

VolDep45 says:

That is just uber-kewl. I wonder how many lines of code it requires to run each one?

Eric Hvinden says:

Looking again, I notice all the cameras, so it must be cameras that are linked…I am guessing quite a bit of processing for the formation flying!!!

Eric Hvinden says:

Ok, so how do the quads know their position? Are they controlled from a central computer, or do they have avoidence software…you would have to know your position down to 2r in order to not collide. They are indoors, so no GPS…I figure white sheets were not coincidence, so I guess it could be optical, but you would need to process each one, uniquely identify it, and then position it. Since they all flew at same height, I would guess some type if sensor (Laser, optical). Need answers!!!!

co0lerthanu says:

Well, duh! I mean, what kind of company would use these for something dumb, like agile and cheap surveillance of civilians in every city? organized infiltration of “secret” areas, to rat out any potential criminals via data-based police archives? Pffffft.

MrShakermaker82 says:

Wow, those are clearly designed to save millions of lives. I’m sure they’ll bring plenty of mirth and joy and happiness to the human race…and the thought of them being used for more sinister means will never ever EVER come into consideration. You lot CLEARLY know what you’re talking about. Enjoy, folks…
